Horní Blatná – tin mining exhibition

Permanent exhibition is focused on the history of mining and manufacturing of the tin ore in the surroundings of Horní Blatná and Boží Dar. The collections of minerals, tin table-ware and models of the mining machines as well as the large model of the city are presented. Life and work of the local singer Hans Soph (1869-1954) is also reminded. In the museum is a small regional gallery and Museum Horní Blatná is the part of the nature trail “Horní Blatná – Vlčí jámy”.

The tour lasts about 15min. German-speaking guide available.
